Golf for Sands - 18 holes at 18 courses in ONE day!
Genelle Aldred & Mike Harris
My Story
Not your usual golf challenge
Mike had a genius idea, rather than 36, 45 or 54 holes at one course, let's do a single hole at a single course 18 times in one day! It's definitely going to be an early start and a late finish.
We'll be touring clubs in Herts and north London. It'll be quite the tour.
And we'll share the journey on social media along the way, on July 13th.
Genelle's story
I've been an ambassador for SANDS since 2020 and it has been a real honour to be part of supporting bereaved parents. I know all too well the journey of baby loss, my daughter Sade died in 2002 and it rocked my entire world.

Mike's story
Genelle and I are taking on the Golf for Sands Challenge to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby can get the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times.
My wife and I lost two babies in late pregnancy. Christopher on September 21, 2007 and Rohaise three years later on May 21, 2010.
We are blessed to have a daughter who turned 18 last year, but the loss of her brother and sister has cast a huge shadow over our lives and affected us in ways we never thought possible.
If you can donate in support we will be enabling Sands to campaign for change and support research, so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.
Time to get 'golfing for good' and raise some money for Sands! ⛳💙🧡
