My Story

It's such an honour to run in memory of a very special boy. Finley Kannegeiter was born sleeping 9 years ago. Our friends Ewan and Katherine continue to walk their journey of loss with such honesty and grace. They have shared their story vunerably and helped raise awareness for the amazing work this chairty do. 

Before sharing in their story I'd been unaware that this situation is a reality for many parents. Anything we can do to help reduce the number of families having to face this tragedy is worth it.

Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it.
