Sands Essex is part of the Sands UK-wide network of local groups, offering emotional support and practical help if your baby has died during pregnancy, at birth or soon afterwards. We are here to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby.

Sands is the UK's leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity operating throughout the UK. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. All donations and funds raised by our amazing supporters will go towards activities that meet these core aims and will be directed to where the need and impact are greatest.
